Fellow New Mexicans, armored Strykers on the ridge won't solve our border challenges.
Together, let's protest the militarization of our southern border & the current administration's takeover of public lands.
There is no war at our border. There are no grounds for invoking the Alien Enemies Act.
Support a just & humane legal solution to immigration challenges, not a military solution.
Immigration and public-lands activists--and all who oppose authoritarianism--please join us in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, for a non-violent protest rally against the Trump Administration's border militarization. We'll gather on 9 AM, July 12, to speak out against growing militarization within our national borders. In the meantime, petition New Mexico's leaders to champion a just, humane immigration policy that lives up to American principles of justice & the rule of law.

The mural is titled "Paseo de Humanidad" (Parade of Humanity) and was created by artists Alberto Morackis, Alfred Quiróz and Guadalupe Serrano. It depicts the struggles and harsh realities of economic refugees traveling through the Sonoran desert to reach the US.
The simplest route to our peaceful protest site: If you navigate using Google Maps, you can plug in “Avenida Delicias, Santa Teresa, NM” and follow directions till you find yourself at site where we will hold our rally. Respecting the 60-foot Roosevelt Reservation right-of-way that extends immediately north of the Border Wall, select a place to park on the edge of the road, leaving plenty of room for vehicles to pass.
As you know, conditions at our southern border are dynamic, so please check back with this site to access updates.
We will continue to post information on this website leading up to our "Humanize, Don't Militarize" rally.
